I broke the lever arm which releases the front passenger seat back. How can I figure out a part number? Can I just replace a couple parts through the dealer for a reasonable amount? It's the electric seat out of a limited 02.

The position is currently stuck where it is... fortunately at a decent angle.

weird! I just had this happen in my wifes 02 Sport. Passenger side froze and the kid gave it a tug and the handle came right off in his hand. I took it apart and everything seems to be in working order except the shaft that goes throught the handle is now broken. A part number would be great but I suspect it's the whole assembly thats going to need to be replaced. I need to find a junk yard!

Same thing here; I’ve taken the cover off added some WD-40 but not change. Hope it doesn’t break.

The best thing to do with these is put a little backward pressure on the seat before you pull the lever. Mine work smooooth as butter this way, and trhere is no *CRACK* or *POP* when I release it! Hope this helps.

Knew that but on my wifes the seat was "froze" in place and wouldn't budge back or forth so the kid just pulled :x Sometimes I hate teenagers and their "I can do anything without thinking first" attitude. My dad probably said the same thing.....about my brothers!
