I'm pricing out a new muffler for my 02 KJ. I'm down to 2, the Flowmaster Super 44 offroad, the 50 suv, or the 50 big block. I want loud, agressive, and mean. I don't want to sound like the civic next to me, I want to sound like a bad stupid truck. deep rumble. So, I need some opinions on mufflers, and also, the specs. I'm told I need the length, the offset, the thickness, and the inlet/outlet size. Where can I track this down?

Even more foolish... What about getting the 50 2.5" in dual out... Am I correct in saying the muffler on my Jeep is mounted at the very back, and a dual out wouldn't be a lot of extra work? I just want to clamp this by the way. Will the 50 big block be just as loud as the 44 off road?

I was just at the Jeepinbyal.com site and noticed they have a wide array of exhaust systems at reasonable prices.

you need 2.5" in/outlet with the inlet being center and an offset outlet

I went with the Thrush Turbo and it sounds good and was cheap

muffler is not at the back its under the rear passenger seat area, no you do not want a dual outlet, why would you extra work, no performance gains
The 50 SUV is a big muffler

so whats louder, the super 44 offroad, or the 50 suv? I'm likely going to get the super 44, but still not decided.

sold. Like I said, I want to be able to pull up to a stock liberty at a red light, rev the engine, and make them look in suprise. I want to break the sterotype of a cute little jeep that is for soccer moms, and my first step is making it sound mean.

I saw a jeep the other day that had a Rancho muffler, I haven't looked into though but thought it was interesting.

Picking up the require tool(s) today, since I'm going to bolt it on, what do you guys think, a angle grinder, a few clamps and a coupler?

Only thing I needed was a sawzall, 4 2.5in clamps, and a piece of 2.5in pipe since the flowmaster is a lot shorter than the stock muffler. The 2.5in pipe was OD on one end and ID on the other.
