Hi Folks. My wife just had this flashing where the trip mileage is. The conditions was real cold, it took about 5 times before it would stay running. I don't have fuel treatment in it yet. It quit after it ran for a while. Anyone know what this is?

Well, I checked the res. level and it was about 1 inch lower than the cold level. I think it has been there since new. I never really paid much attention to it. I added some to it to bring it up to the full when cold line. Does anyone know if the sensor is in the res or in the engine somewhere? It didn't do it this morning, but it was in a warm garage.

There is a tendency toward false signals. Mind did that with the coolant about 1/4" below cold mark. I filled it to the line and has not happened again.

What a coincidence. I had the same low coolant light come on last week for three consecutive mornings. It would go out as soon as the engine started to warm up. I added about a couple of cups of distilled water and the problem vanished.
