Check out this light bar. It is made for the Wrangler but Sport made it fit his 06 KJ.

Looks like they are mounted directly on the bumper fascia, wouldn't that make them shaky when driving?

i took just drilled out the holes on the inside of the bumper i took some sheat metal that i had laying around, folded it over to have a good anchor since the bumper is all plastic. i fed the wiers through the back hole with some hard rubber tubing and heat shrink to keep everything water tight.

this is an existing ground on the left side of the firewall with the relay of the lights

this is some info that i found on how to get through the firewall http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Jeep_Liberty/Electrical/Firewall_Penetration
Image
for the 12volt + i ran it off the 12volt+ from the daytime running lights
Image
and the swich i put it on the center console

this weekend when a buddy of mine helps me fix my cv joint i will take some pics of behine the bumper
and oh yes make sure that you make sure that you mape some kind of disconnects so if you ever have to take off your bumper you don't have to rewire your lights each time you take off your bumper.... i learned that one the hard way when a buddy made my clevis mounts for me

On my 04 there is steel under the plastic skin mine don't vibrate at all. If you look at the bottom of the bumper there are two access holes one on each side. You can get a socket in to tighten the bolts holding on the lights. I made two small brackets to hold the lights so it would be easy to get to the bolts on the bottom side.

Good idea - I just drilled the bumper and ran the bolts for mine straight thru but they are a bit close to the grille for proper aiming. And yes the bumpers on the '05+ models do not have the same steel frame under them that the '02-'04 models do. I believe they use some small metal brackets mounted to a crossmember section for the Renegade-style lights on the bumper.
