i narrowed my tire choices between 31X10.5X15 and 265/70/16 what rim backspacing for each would you reccomend?

4-4.5" BS for 7-inch rim

4.5-5" BS for 8-inch rim

Only 15" wheel that fit are the Cragars or other steel wheels.

I used to run 16x8 with 3.75" BS and had all sorts of rubbing issues,major rubbing.Switched to 16x7 rims with 4.5" BS and virtually all the rubbing is gone,just a tad bit rubbing on the front of the rear flares and I run 265/75's.

4" BS and no issues, just wish I would have gotten 3.5-3.75" of BS, Im running 245/75/16
