Recently, I noticed that I feel every little bump and divit in the road as I am driving. It kind of causes a shake in the vehicle. The ride is definitely not smooth. I only have 11,000 miles on it, but could something possibly have happened to the suspension/shocks/struts?

the springs could have finally seated/ sagged as they have in my case. because im a little on the big side, you can really tell that the driver side sits lower

I can't imagine that's normal, in the sense that it causes the ride to be much rougher <shrug>.

It's a Jeep and not a caddy,it's going to ride alot rougher then a car.

I get that, but it used to ride great. My KJ's never rode this rough, and my commander rides like a dream, so, guess it's not a jeep thing. I was just curious if shocks could go bad with only 11,000 miles on it. I suppose it could also be the cold weather affecting the tire pressure, since they run low in the winter.

If your talking about the KK,I noticed the same thing on mine.It rode great when it was new,I have less then 6k and see that my front end is starting to sag.Now I see why they changed the springs and shocks on the 09.

Interesting observation. If they changed the springs and shocks due to problems like this, wonder if it will be a recall thing in the future.

I dont know why Chrysler/Jeep let consumers "suffer" with faulty cars... THERE IS CLEARLY AN ISSUE WITH 08's! otherwise they wouldnt upgraded suspension parts......

We would CLEARLY ALL be driving Black Model "T"s with out the yearly upgrading of features. I Guess silver was among them.
