I have looked around and found the direction to supposedly do this.

Hodl lock button 4 seconds then hit unlock while kepeing lock button pressed and then release both buttons. I have tired this methond and on my 07 it only shuts off the light flash, it does nto turn off the horn chirp.

Anyone know the true way to do this, or am I doing something wrong?

I believe you are supposed to hit the alarm button, not unlock on 05+ models. I havn't had success with it on mine yet though. Should be in the manual.

in the manual, it is not correct. it is on here somewhere how to do it correctly.
it would be nice if someone for 05+ could post how to...
1. turn on/off parking lights when lock/unlock
2. turn on/off chirp when lock/unlock
3. 2xpush to unlock
4. single/double tap to pop-up rear glass

I used to have them all, but do not anymore!

On my 05 Limited that is controlled by the overhead consol. All I had to do is choose for it not to beep the horn.

The procedure in my 05 owner's manual doesn't work either. I haven't tried this procedure yet...
