Does it make a lot of noise now ? How many light covers are you needing? I thought someone tried to get them before but couldn't though not sure.
Might be putting one on mine so wondering how much extra wind noise

Tom

part # 5HZO7RXFAF light bar covers

cheapest I found in a quick search was 23.31 each,

I will make you a better deal than that if you need all four, brand new still in the box

when i got my jeep, 2 of them were broke, the clips were broke, so i only had 2 good ones. but my buddyworks at a used car lot and snagged 4 of them off a libby renegade for me :) i usually put em on when i go on long trips, but for around town driving i usually leave em off

i figured the wind goes around the lights and the black light bar acts like a wind scoop, with the covers on i figure itll get better aerodynamics somewhat, eh every little bit helps :) but with the covers on, i cant flash my roof lights at stupid drivers!

Alot of information here, thanks!

Mine did not come with covers. (second owner)
I have a decent amount of wind noise from the general area of the lightbar, however it could be due to my sunroof. (it seems to make more noise closed than open!!)

I was thinking it could be possible that adding the covers could reduce wind noise.

tommudd, i've never not had the lightbar so i don't rally know for sure if it makes noise or not =(

RAYMAN975, i'm thinking the same thing, you should know however, that two blind retards is a bit more dangerous than one retard :P

Anyway, at twenty dollars per, they need to do something other than sit pretty!

I think in some states you have to have forward facing lamps covered or turned up when not off road.

I don't know if miine makes any noise because my tires are to loud for me to notice any roof noise.

I am sure they would be a tiny bit quieter with the covers on

I couldn't tell either way with mine. Even if they were louder w/ them off I wouldn't care, its a jeep. :P

Plus it looks better with them off!

Since it seems they are somewhat expensive, and seem to do little or nothing in the way of noise reduction, they can go to hell!

Thanks again.
