I'm hearing of more people having this problem with their '08 Liberty. What are the symtoms of it??? And I've also heard that after the re-flash it can be even worse. What's up????

A shudder is like a small vibration from the transmission when it shifts into gears.Feels like a lag,or loss of power during shift.I had the TSB done on my wifes KK,and it shifts a lot better.I had TSB#18-027-08 .this also helps the A/C .

Thanks for explaining it to me. Does this to be a common thing with the 2008's??? What I have noticed mine doing is if I'm doing 30 or 40mph and its at about 1500rpm's, if I slightly step on the gas it will go way up to 2500rpm's. It's kind of annoying in a way....never had a car do that before.
I know the rpm's will go up as you step on the gas , but it's like it searches before it settles back to 1500 or so. Normal on this car????

Mine does the same thing.I think it has something to do with the electronic throttle control.Your other vehicles probably had a cable for your throttle.Electronic make it more sensitive, and faster reaction then cable.

starting in 07, the throttles are controlled by pwm sensors

Just called the dealer and he says the TSB mentioned above is not applicable for my 08, is there any other TSB's, mine is a late model 08.

Look on the inside edge of the drivers door, there is a white sticker that will have the build date,VIN and so on.On the very bottom of that sticker you(small print) you should have a MDH #,that is a more specific build date(Month,Day,and Hour).
