Are there any websites that sell black steel rims and M/T tire packages, I know my brother got a set of 4 for around $700 for his Rubi, but it was a b-day gift from his wifes parents

Why order wheels/tires off the internet? You can almost always find better deals locally(save on the freight they add to the tires price) and buying local you can get lifetime balance/rotate and road hazard protection for the same cost of S/H.

All of the places I've been around here like their stuff wayyy to much. plus many don't carry the brands I want. plus theres also tax, tire disposal fees, etc.

In comparison it has been cheaper on both sets to buy on the internet.

That's odd since I've always bought my tires locally and always have paid at least 25% less then anywhere on the internet was offering, then again I always get 5 wheels/5 tires and that is where they get you since all the packages is only for 4 wheels/4 tires.I also never have the place mount them to my vehicle, they only mount the tires on the wheels and balance them and I personally mount them on my vehicle.

I always but locally as well, well close by to either up here in Toledo or back down home in Southeastern Ohio, but I look up and compare what I want then go in and say I am looking to buy these tires, I have a price of $XXX and everytime I get them for at least the internet price or cheaper, balancing and mounting included. Also go shop at the end of the month, they want to make their monthly quota's and they can write better deals then.

I shopped locally and on the net and ended up going with JC Whitney. They were about $100 less than any local deal. The wheels seem to be more local than in the package I got. Call the people and sweet talk them into giving you a deal on the 5th tire and wheel since you bought the package. They are usually willing to deal. At least they were for me.

Well what can i say? Everything is exspensive around here. property taxes especially. these local places have to charge more to stay in business. heck our sales tax down here is 9% thats a pretty good bit when your talkin a 600-800 investment in rubber.

8.4 - 8.8% here in WA. I buy mine Online also, of course I shop for deals, plus Quadratec, 4WD, 4wheelparts, and others also offer military discounts which, Les Schwab, Big O, and other local stores don't. Plus despossal fees, and everything else, I usually save, plus I can get exactly what I want.

Full set of 265's for 540 shipped.
5 Cragars 16x7 for $191 with free shipping.
5 AEV Pintler Beadlocks for $1295 shipped.
5 35" Procomp X-MT's for the JK shipped $575.

The deals are out there, just have patience, do your research, and be informed to the whole price.

I paid $669 dollars shipped for 5 Toyo Open Country A/T’s from 4wheelparts. My local tire shop priced them at $725 dollars. Like tjkj2002 said, the free mount, rotate, and balance would have paid for the extra $56 dollars that I saved. I’m not impressed with my local tire shop, which was probably my biggest reason. However, I really enjoy ordering stuff from the comfort of my home. :D

The tire and wheel package I got came mounted and balanced shipped to my door. All I had to do was put them on. The cheapest local guy is almost $200 more than the net guys on the 33s I am shopping around. I took my old tires to Les Schwab and they unmounted my tires so I could ship the wheels for free and then they donated the tires to a battered women's shelter. The also mounted and balanced my 5th tire and wheel for free.
