The rig is going great. Hopefully the roof rack will get done this month, and i might just lift the front a little more, and then I hope the great eagle poops in my mail box this year so i can get tires

I would switch to photo bucket, way easier to post pictures...

Any way as far as the lift, I have over 1000 city miles on it no problem. There is less body roll than stock  .. I know it sounds crazy but it's true. I don't know what the spring rate is right now,,but it is way stiffer than stock but no so stiff as to kill your kidneys. All in all, I am really happy with it.

The only thing that i can say bad about is it after it snows here, the state puts down Magnesium chloride as a deicer. well after every thing dries up a wekk later, i get this funny little squeak that is intermittent. but it is nothing a good cleaning will take care of

I get that squeak too and mine is stock. i think its the swar bar bushings that get water and when it freeze, it squeaks. It all started when I went offroading in 1' of water and the next day it was - 7 degree. like you said a quick car wash and its gone

Yea, i really like the way your Jeep sits. Maybe next year ill do that, as I have the daystar kit on the way..... Thanks for the info. I figure Ill use this for a year and then upgrade to that kit.... that was really my only concern, as it looks like a real sturdy well made kit...... so as long as it has decent manners on the street, thats cool.....

It’s simply not possible to adequately convey how much better my current tires are than the SRAs. They may not be the end all be all of AT tires (cooper ATRs) but holy cow. The SRAs didn’t do anything well and were particularly bad in the snow where the ATRs are great. I’m also super psyched to not have to use 4lo to get out of 1” of mud anymore (happened twice last year).

Which is all to say: any AT tire you get will tickle you pink over how much better it is.

Digger- any word on a MPG effect in town from your lift?

The day I got stuck on the beach with my stock tires I knew that I would be awaiting some nice AT's. What a bummer that was. I got it out, but good lord . . . a jeep on the beach gets stuck? What kind of justice is that?

Now does anyone have $500 they can lend me?

yeah why is that so many people think that. I took my low rider in to see what was the issue and the guy decided to wd40 it. I told him yeah that's only gonna clean it. it did not sweak for two days and then I added some real lubricate. I guess a good flush and relube fixed it.
