someone hit my jeep while i was in class today. the dented in the corner of the bumper, beneath the taillight pretty good. i'm hoping that peice is connected to the rest of the rear bumper so the insurance company sends me enough to buy a RL light duty or close to it anyways.. anyone know if that corner is connected to the rest of the bumper? and how much one retails for?

It's all connected, they didn't damamge the wheel fender cover did they, that is also pretty close to that area as well? Any sheet metal damage underneath?

You can always just hold on to the check and run around without a rear bumper for a while and when you get the rest of the money together drop the change on the new RL rear bumper, just a thought, the license plate then can go in the window or zip tied to the spare or something, lol.

the liscence plate is fine, its the corner peice left of that, which was hit. maybe i mispoke earlier. but yes, i may just do that depending on the size of the refund

when i was rear-ended, they gave me $205 for the rear plastic bumper on my 05.

well I just talked to the guy I bought the liberty from (SRH enterprises, Grand Rapids MI) and he said because of the issues I was having with the SKIM module and the jeep not starting, he was going to throw a bumper on for free.
