The noesp mod could be done on newer canbus/chargers by holding your key on the START position by a whole 30 seconds.......
here's a quote directly from chargerforums:

Anyways all i do is turn the key to the right as if i"m starting the car but you have to do this when your indrive and moving.
Won't work if not moving,this will light up your esp/bas and little car.
It"ll stay that way untill you shut off the car, on my car anyways.
Go out and give it a try let me know.

Drive down the street at 20mph, engine already running, turn the key to START. You won't hurt the engine or starter. Hold the key for a few seconds until it bongs at you, and then release the key.

ANyone care to try?

I just might... I do know on the automatics, the starter is controlled by the pcm... A lot of nitro owner say that there have been times where the car still cranks even after they have let off of the key

yeah, but the abs did save the kk today when a st bernard the size of an chevy s10 ran out in front of me while I was cruising @ 45 :shock:

...

I can say for a fact that is true. I ran out of gas one day (long story=bad day) and I turned the key for only a second but it kept cranking for about 3 sec.
