The piece of wood the lights are on is 29" long. That is the width I want to cover on the back of my roof basket. These lights will be back-up lights. I thought about making the inside 2 lights hitting in close and the outside 2 going back further.

Set up this way they would be centered on the basket. Again the bottom 2 could be shinning in close and the top 2 back a ways. On both set ups there would of course be an overlap of light. I think these are 55 watt lights.

So, what does everyone think. BTW, the lights will not be mounted on wood!

I think you should put two on the rear and one on each side.....

If you aren't going for that at all...

I like the 4 spaced out.... not stacked...

Maybe put two in the center Stacked and the other two on the outside..... That might be cool....

I hadn't thought about 2 stacked in the middle only. That is an idea. I could also just put my 100 watt back on there!!

I like the four spreadout...make sure you keep the wood for mounting though. Gives it a true redneck feel

i like them spread even, maybe the 2 center ones closer. i think you would get a better light pattern that way also.
