It's all basic info.
I'm just wondering some things about becoming a cop, and how to do it.

I was started on the college path, but everything is a bit hectic right now.
I am wondering about the option of going to the academy?
Is it a good option?

Becoming a conservation officer is another one of my questions. I don't know any in particular. I suppose I could call the head office, and see if one of those guys/gals, would be willing to talk to me.


PS, How does someone get on a ride along? Is that something that you need to be going to school for? Will they let any regular joe (Tony) do?

Ive done lots of ride alongs i just went in and ask to go and just signed papers and off i went. Most Departments will take riders some will not.

Im also going to school for CJ hate it to death and everyone I talk to says here it wont help me make anymore $$$ but I still beleave is school and most places love the CJ degree.

To get on just go into wherever you want to work and ask for the next test date and take the test. One day Ill be doing this just dont know when!!!
