Whats up everyone,

Well I don't know if this has been done beore or even talked about but I was interested in converting my 02 Liberty to a 05-07 Liberty. Is it physically possible to convert it? Only difference I see would be the front bumper, bumper lights, front grill face, tailamps. What do you guys think? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

hood, if going flat hood, fenders, flares, inner fenders show a different parts number as well
Radiator support had some changes as well I think
front lower cross member is different parts number , not sure how much difference
02-04 fenders are the same 05 #s change

Oh and it's been talked about before

In my opinion it would be cheaper, easier, and look better if you put on a the ARB bumper.

It would way be easier to trade it in on a newer one. Not sure why you would want to though. I definitely agree with putting an ARB on it.

You will need to replace your window regulators for cheap junk models so they can break on you at the worst opportune time and often.

are you concerned with the interior changes, mechanical changes, or exterior cosmetic changes?

i would think that the mechanical changes would be really difficult and there would be no benefit except for adding ABS, front disc brakes and traction control.

the interior colors were changed for 05 along with other things, so if you replace any interior components with newer ones for added features, they may not match depending on which part it is.

for the exterior, you would need the front bumper, grille, and fender flares. or if you're going for the flat hood renegade, you'll need that hood along with the rene-specific grille. the fog lights are in the grille for 05+ or on the bumper for the 05+ renegades. the taillights have red turn indicators instead of amber.

the exterior stuff is doable for sure, especially if you go for used or salvage parts.
other then that, nothing else i can think of

Alright guys, you are taking this a litle bit out of course...

All I want to know is what parts are needed to change the front end look of the 02-04 Liberty to look like the 05-07 Liberty. All I want to do (If possible) front bumper including bumper lights ect..., front grill (grill that has the fog lamps on the grill instead of the bumper).

Thats all I want to make it look like the 05-06. I do not want an exact replica of it with badges and side mouldings and all that. Only other thing I would change is the tailamps to 05-07.

you will have to change your grille support panel, old grille screws in, new grille clips in then get the small fog lights, different front flares
