getting snorkel fitted this weekend, was hinted at me that fitting snorkel gives less miles per gallon, true or false

Not true, if yer right foot doesn't often spasm from sympathetic reaction to having a snorkel - and, don't fergit, that snorkel does not make the KJ intake waterproof unless the airbox is totally sealed, beyond the oem factory level - the plastic components fit together gasketless, very unsnugly, and the airbox has a weep-hole or several in the bottom - plus, none of the breather-tubes: front and rear differentials, transmission, transfer case, and fuel tank - are above wheel center-line - snorkels look neat, but don't get washed away B4 you water-proof yer KJ

The snorkel comes with a plastic pipe and flange. Simply take the template and attach to the side of the box and cut where indicated...... oh wait...... all these fins are in the way........ OK, I'll just cut them off so the surface is flat....... OK now we're all set...... darn it!...... I am just going to eyeball where this flange mounts because it's not going to fit where the template is marked........ There... all mounted.... Now I just have to insert the plug that came with the kit..... Wait a minute there is no plug... what the hell am I supposed to do with this 3" hole where the factory intake used to be? ..... It's a good thing a happen to have a scrap piece of star board lying around........ Now where is that jigsaw?

Don't wait too long, I believe there's only 1 or 2 left in the US.
