Specifically I have an Infinity BassLink. It's currently mounted in the back left of the vehicle (behind the smaller of the two fold down rear seats). Today I had somebody cut me off and the resulting evasive maneuvers ended with a cord being ripped out of the unit. This has brought my attention back to the need of securing the unit semi-permanently. Any ideas?

what kind of provisions are built into the basslink for mounting? ie. bolt holes, etc.

You could invent someway to use the metal brackets on the floor. Other than that, you could easily mount it to the seat back if it wouldn't interfere.

I use the vertical mounting brackets for my BassLink. Just have 2 drywall screws per bracket down thru the floor of the cargo area. With these, I haven't had any trouble with it coming loose.

I actually just ended up using four small (penny size) pieces of industrial strength Velcro since the carpet in the cargo area in my Jeep is almost identical to the fuzzy side of Velcro!

Worked perfectly!

I built a 3/4" floor plate from MDF and carpeted it and then srewed the box to the plate. Custom fit to all the contours of the floor. Carpet stays fresh and I can mess up the carpet on the plate I made.
