JBA 4" Lift
17 inch wheels with 31 inch AT's
full skids, tow hooks
Westin Bull Bar
JBA Upper A-Arms
Custom Fabricated Roof Racks (skyslider friendly)
New front component speakers, rear 2 or 3 ways, one 10" sub with custom fit box, and enough amplifier to control everything
Wet Okele Seat Covers Front and Back
New Husky or Weathertech floor mats, front and back
Mounted Air compressor
Front and Rear Lockers
Hella Black Magic Aux Lights for Bull Bar and Roof Rack
Rock Lizard Rock Rails

Not 25K, but that is really all I want. Not sure if I would want steel bumper/winch unless this was not a daily driver with occasional off-road duty.

I would do this. Without the fancy paint. Dull camo works for me.

Let's see, I'd:
    1. Full suspension style lift kit, probably 4" JBA, with JBA UCA and SS brake lines.
    2. Custom wheels with larger off-road tires (~31" OD).
    3. Custom designed and fabricated full length rock rail sliders that go from wheel well to wheel well in place of the black lower rocker cladding.
    4. Custom designed and fabricated roof rack with built-in storage for high-lift jack and some basic tools.
    5. Modify the roof front to install a nice custom light bar assembly.
    6. Install on-board air compressor.
    7. Add front and rear selectable lockers (and probably re-gear while I'm there).
    8. Custom designed and fabricated armored front winch-bumper with bull bar and additional lighting. Adding the winch will have to include adding a dual battery system.
    9. Add all-around lighting to the custom roof rack.
    10. Rework the engine for increased HP, low-end torque and high-end breathability.
    11. Make the necessary adjustments to improve its water fording capabilities.
    12. Custom designed and fabricated armored rear bumper, with additional rear lighting and provisions for a removable swing-out rear tire mount carrier.
    13. Custom paint job, probably with black fender flairs and lower rocker panels all around (below the belt line) and then maybe the sage green from the earlier KJ Renegade's for above the belt line.
    14. Nice custom-mounted high-powered CB system.
    15. Custom on-board GPS system that provides topographical information as well as longitude, latitude coordinates.
    16. Well equipped off-road recovery and repair supply kit.
    17. Lojack.
    18. Additional skid plate work underneath from abrasion resistant, high strength steel plate.
    19. Keep bugging someone in the automotive magazine world until a favorable article was published about the Liberty KJs/KKs.
    20. Any leftover funds would go to on-board bull-horns and anything else needed to deal with, in one way or another, some of the idiots on the road.

That's all I can think of quickly off the top of my head......

Actually I take it back, I'd finish my SFA on it, then buy a TJ to build a Brute with.

I would have to throw the 25k into the Jeep, with all my clothes, my dog, and some other minor things, and get the hell out of here.

Ohh yea, and my wife too... :?

$25K?

Trade in the KK and put $15k down a 4dr Rubicon.

If buying another car isn't part of the question, then I'd get a 4" lift, new wheels & tires, ARB-look bumpers (to be made), med. duty winch, intake, ignition, exhaust. Oh, and paint.
