Wow, I haven't done any wheelin yet, and I'm not sure how much I'll do with my stock DD. But this looks like a lot of fun and like something I can handle as a noob.

My only concern is the 18" water. Would that be a problem for a stock KJ? Also, would you soak your interior?

Water doesn't get in unless you do this... :wink:

i did this one with no water in the interior. sat there for probably 5 minutes too.

odds of tearing up one of my brand new all season tires that I need to drive to work on, in the water or up a "challenging uphill road"?

I knew I shoulda kept those half bald oem crappy wranglers for something...

I don't think any of you need to worry, there will only be about 10-15% of actual offroad as most of the old fire/backwood roads have now been paved. Most of the creek crossings will be down unless we get some good rains the week of the event. I should be there riding shotgun in my buddys Fullsize Ford, but if not, I'm going to have to hit someone up for a ride

ok, my goal this weekend is to convince the wife to sit in the KJ with me for 3-4 hours. If she's down, im signing up!

She hates riding in it, I may have to trade HER in...

Just tell her she won't be sitting down the whole time. She will be getting in/out of the libby looking for the scavenger hunt items :mrgreen:

I, just got off the phone with Senic Road Rallye's they have only 6 spots left. That's, after I signed up!!! Im going to call Tow Strap tonight and see if he wants to tag along!!! Hope to see some LOST KJ's out there!!!!

I have not signed up yet. I haven't secured a co-pilot, so I'm not sure if I'm going to go or not for sure.

My wife and son are going, the wife isn't good with directions (AKA map's) (sign's) (driving!!!!) so Im not sure if I will be able to do the scavenger hunt as well. She says she will TRY!! So don't mind the RED KJ that keeps turning around and looks LOST!!!! :roll:

walmart sells porta pots about the size of a 5 gal bucket, like you'd put on a boat that didnt have a turlet

put a loaf of bread and a big jar of peanut butter and some squeezable jelly in a bag and you're good for the resturant!

can utilize both from the rear passenger area

at the same time even!

just let her know i give her full permission to slap me up side the skull whenever I finally get up to IL and get out on the trails with you guys

my gf's whole family keeps tellin me that same thing that I'm not right and that im crazy

then i remind them that I fit in pretty good with them :lol:
