I will need new tires this spring since my front tires got all worn unevenly when the previous owner didn't get the kj aligned. I am looking at the grabbers 245-70R16 and was wondering what would be the effect on fuel mileage (CRD) and what was the overall satisfaction. I noticed that the 225-75R16 weights only 13kg while the 245-70R16 weights 18kg. The 245 is 11lbs heavier! I have Toyo GO2 225-75R16 (13kg) for winter tires since we get serious winters up here in Quebec (lot of snow and quite often -15) and they're doing the job great. I do most of my driving on the highway and a bit of trail for camping and a bit of adventure.
What's your advise?
