Al's sight is selling the Falcon or Moog. Falcon is half the price, does anyone have any experience with them?

Why did you purchase non-serviceable when you could have got the greaseable ones? That's basically the reason people buy them, is so they can grease them for a longer life period.

Because the serviceable ones were not available at that time.Besides look at what I got out of them so far.I believe the quality (read made in USA) greaseable parts (LBJ/U-Joints) offer little over the non-greaseable now because of the superior materiels and processes. When somone wears out a MOOG joint lemme know and we'll see.

They are junk.

Stay away from them.

1 year warranty vs lifetime warranty. Seriously dude, if you have to cut costs, don't do it on suspension components

The OEM LBJ's are the same as the MOOG's you installed since MOOG makes the OEM LBJ's.

No they are not.If that's the case why did the originals last 40K and these are over 100K?I don't know who makes the OEM stuff and tossed the ones I removed. However the LBJs installed are far superior to the ones removed.
The OEM LBJ's made by MOOG are made to Chrysler's specs, the non-greaseable MOOG LBJ's sold outside of Chrysler's control are made to MOOG's specs which are better then OEM.

Well BOOOOO to Chrysler specs, I am on my second set of these 'upgrated' OEM LBJ's. (first set blew after only 15k miles) Would have gotten MOOG's a long time ago if JEEP hadn't repaired it under warranty every time.

And...don't you mean greaseable LBJ's? :D

Well then that would make them different now, wouldn't it?

Yes, the greasable MOOGs ARE different from the stock LBJs and the replacement non-greasable LBJs...but the latter two are the same. That's what he was saying
What difference did you honestly see in stock vs your non-greasable MOOG replacement? I'm confident they looked identical minus maybe some aesthetics like color, etc.
The greasable ones are beefier looking.

Roll your eyes all you wish it's still a K1399 ball joint.

So you didn't tell of any visual differences as I asked about...does this mean your only confirmation that's its different (better?) than the stock LBJ is the part number? Hey I'm just wondering what leads you believe that it's better than stock. I think that part number's usefulness is only in application...as we've seen more than one LBJ with that number.

BTW I'm fairly confident that Troy meant that the greasable MOOG LBJs are made to MOOG's spec outside of Chrysler's influence, contrary to the OEM product still made by MOOG.

There was a BIG difference between the first series of OEM LBJ's and the after recall fitted ones.

They look bigger. Stronger.

What you can't freakin read?????It's a K3199 Moog ball joint. The ONLY difference is it has no grease fitting dammit. When I bought the part it was unavailable in a serviceable unit.Isn't the fact it has over 100 thousand miles enough to convince you nit picking freaks it's a quality part?I'm done here.Good day girls.

Tonycrd,
The ones that I saw for ever recall look the same minus aesthetics (color marking on the boots). That doesn't look different to me, maybe I don't remember well enough when I took my OEM LBJs.

Addressing XR...I'm 20 y/o old and I assume most on here are older, and act accordingly...I was wrong, about at least one of those assumptions  I think you think I'm trying to knock your parts. I was just wanting to see the reasoning behind your beliefs, because as another post stated, the MOOG greasables are typically seen as the real upgrade. If you've actually pulled apart your 'upgraded' LBJs and SEEN the "superior materials" and evidence of "superior processes"...or if they are even marketed and sold as such ('superior to OEM'), then you are obvious correct in calling them superior to OEM LBJs. But here you are, getting all offended like I just ran over your dog. If you want to call me names on the internet...well then, go for it. Others won't have it, though, I assure you. You called me (I doubt it was directed at anyone else really) a nit-picking freak and a girl...and I'm going to stay above that and not call you a thing (not that I'm truely offended, unlike you). BTW, you didn't convince anyone that it's a quality part...but, hey, you're "done here". It never seemed like you really wanted to prove anything. You just wanted everyone reading this thread to take you're word for it. Sorry, but this forums is about the exchange of information, not about stating "facts" and expecting other to just take them as is without any questions, concerns, or thoughts.

TO ALL THE NORMAL LOST FORUM MEMBERS:
I'm sorry you had to read that...well actually you didn't. I just had to set the record straight with what's really going on here.

I think the biggest mix up here is that we ( me including  ) are thinking OEM MOOG's while XR is talking about real MOOG's although they are the non-greaseable ones. And 100k with a set of LBJ's is pretty much proof of their strenght

Now I hope I do not have to repeat myself otherwise it's
