Hi everyone,

I guess with it being quiet lately I'll put up a question....

Anybody know how accurate the EVIC system/Tire Pressure Monitors are?

I plan to ask this on the next time I take it into the shop but, checked my tire pressure last night with my "normal" tire pressure gague, all tires at 36psi... EVIC called them 33 and 32 on the right/left sides respectively.

Which should I trust?

I would trust evic... Ive used some rugged tire pressure gauge and it comes up like evic... so I guess Evics good!

I would trust the evic, but the evic system may be compensating for outside ambient temperature

Mine seem to be within a pound of my digital gauge.
Speaking of which I think one of mine went bad tonight. Not showing a pressure at all and I have the warning light flashing on my dash. May have to visit the dealer in the morning for some warranty repair.
