I just noticed today that there is "Type 35" in red just above the odometer. At first I thought this might be a code, but upon closer look, it appears this is painted on? I couldn't find anything regarding this in the owner's manual or by doing a search here. What is this?

it's on mine too, i think it's either some sort of model of speedomer or perhaps signifys that it uses a 35 tooth speedo gear like on some of the TJ's and wranglers? Other than that I have no idea
