Can someone explain in simple terms what the purpose and/or theory of the big weight that's mounted to the differential housing of the rear axle of the KJ does? Does the engine (3.7/CRD torque patterns) make any difference for what it does?

Thanks.
Dan

It's a vibration dampener. And you can take it of if you want, people say not to mention any difference.

Do a search for 'kj balls' :D
