Two days ago we had our first day above freezing in weeks, We have been running about 0 to 19 everyday. It was 50 and raining and when I got in the truck water hit my left hand. I looked up and water was dripping from the connection in the front left corner just behind the windshield. If I pushed on the headboard the water dripped pretty fast. I have an appointment with the dealer for Tuesday with their "leak specialist". Yesterday it poured and 50 mph winds and I didn't have a drop come in. Strange. I am suspecting that ice was the culprit and when the temperature improved it melted and came in and resealed. I going to have it checked anyway. :?

A good dealer should be able to identify and resolve the source of the issue. Please keep us informed what happens.

Yo,
I bought a used kk 2008 Limited 4x4 w/ the skyslder roof. I noticed a dingy spot above the drivers side vanit mirror. I took it thru a car wash and no water came thru. I'm hoping its a stain from the previous owner etc. but I'm not to confident...............

Not sure if this is your 1st Jeep or not but from what I hear is if you don't get a sprinkle when it rains then it's not a JEEP. Especially if it's a Wrangler! Good luck with ther Liberty. I have one as well.

Going to the dealer tonight. It is strange that we had a heavy rain after the day it leaked and not a drop. I hope they will be able to find something. I believe it may be the trim on the top just in front of the factory rails may need some sealant. I will let you know what they find out. Thanks all. :)

its the sunroof/moonroof, whatever you want to call it. they all leak sooner or later from the ice. the water gets in there freezes and expands. messes up the seal. once the weather is better you should be ok.

Weill, the receipt said they resealed the the front left column which is where the leak was. Just waiting for the first good thaw and rain again. My sunroof has never leaked so far and the water I had coming it was no where near it. They also resealed the back window. I'll let you know what happens. Beside that I love this Jeep.

To add more to this issue, my NON-SUNROOFED Lib also had the exact same leak. I say had, because I haven't seen it since it first started. Mine was one the ones that had the rear leaking also. That was just weather stripping that wasn't up to par. The front one I had an appt for, but haven't been able to make it to one yet, lol. Will get done soon anyway though.

The dealer said they were going to replace the whole windshield stripping, and reseal it. Of course, all this has to be done by the "window people" that the dealerhsip uses. Who I might add, are only available 1 day out of the week.

Hooray for Amercian Service Standards! (pfffffffffft!!)

Leak is still there. First rain and i had a leak at the same spot. I am going to wait til warmer weather (11 today) and have them check again. It is the same thing here "leak specialist" comes every tuesday to the dealer.
