that's a pretty convient offer dieselenthusiast.... almost like someone happened to 'help' his ball joint fail.

KJ-BOL have you seen a red KJ with some fancy chrome sneaking around lately?

lol, I don't need to sell them that bad. Just trying to help the guy with his aftermath.

Glad no one was hurt. I’m sure you got one heck of a ride. I too check my Jeep’s entire underbelly every oil change if not more often.

Getting mine checked tonight, just made the appointment. Great garage I deal with, the told me they wont charge me anything for getting it looked at, worst case if they have to spend some time on it they will charge me $25 for the front end inspection but I can pay next month when I get the rest of my stuff done.

Its funny, I keep telling myself I'm getting them checked out because the wife drives it to work, but shes a better driver than me, likelly would recover from failure a lot quicker than me :)

Guess what I found both sides are SCARRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYY loose!!!!!!   I have aprox. 3inch lift with only 45k only been wheeled a couple times too. Im going to check out my options, I like AL's arms but price is a factor and I only have a couple days to find A arms. Any suggestions???????

I called Al's he was out of the 3.5 control arms which was a stretch money wise any way, the new 4.5 arms were $385.00 plus shipping!!! I talked to my buddie at Advance auto he was abe to get MOOG arms for $136.00 each, for tomarrow!!! I know I will kick myself later because AL'S arms are the best and the right way to solve the prob. Thanks for the WEB. site atxkj, yellowcoyote I saved both.

I have the DREDED!! 2.5 OTT lift with a two ring clevis per side. I think I read some where that it will cause premature upper ball joint failure!! Am I correct? :?: :?: :?:

NOTE: TOM MUD I plan on replacing OTT with OME HD spings later!!!!!

Start saving money so you can replace the new stock upper a-arms the next time around.. Maybe even with arms that are not disposable. :)
