Oh come on, you're going to pass up a day of offroading with your friends, your buds, for what a little mixed snow? I can see Albany getting 8-10"s of snow, but not O. County, no way.

Actually, what we should do is drive up to visit Albert and hit those logging roads in the snow. Come on Bri, don't wimp out, you need to take the Jeep out, the only reason why your having some issues with it is cause it's desire is to hit the trails, lol.

Hey, I'll even bring ya a cup of joe, on the trail that is, hahaha

Actually, its quite a lot of fun, we'd just have to watch it past the oval area, some of the ruts are pretty deep.

I've been out at Paragon ap in the snow (shame that it closed, :( ), with more than a foot of powder. It was a blast.

Let's do it fellas. I'll continue to pay attention to 1010 Wins. Later, Steve

Not now you won't. There's 4-5 foot solid ice snow banks from the plows.

There's all this talk about wasteful spends. Plows, if that's not wasteful, I sure don't get it, all they do is drive in circles all night, bast&^%$. Ok, maybe another time.

So Albert, are you coming down, we can meet the the Dawg's house, that is if he's still up for it.

Steve,
I was looking at the weather report and they are calling for snow all day tomorrow. Its gonna make it REAL HARD to wheel at TA......add the ice under it and not much traction now

My parents were gonna come over and watch the LIL man for us and Andrea was gonna come with us.
It would not have been a problem if it was not so warm yesterday and then it got about 17 here over night. The ground was so wet yesterday that over night the ground became a block of ICE and now it is snowing. NO TRACTION at all rite now.

We will get out there soon enough

Can anyone make this Sunday - the 28th? I’m thinking around 11 or 12. The weather is going to suck but I have some free time and want to take advantage.

Next question. I have one, maybe two friends who would like to go with me in their own rides – non-Jeeps, if this is an issue just let me know. The first guy recently got a used Land Rover D90 that has a lift and is sitting on 33” Goodyear M/T’s. It’s pretty bad stupid and does have a winch that I’m sure will get a lot of use. The other guy who might show up has a dual sport motorcycle. It’s a 4-stroke so it’s not too loud like a 2-stroke. Honestly, with temps below 40 and the possibility of rain I doubt he’ll show but I still want to know if it’d be OK.

I don’t want to screw up the arrangement that has been worked out for us heara on LOST so please let me know if it’s an issue or not. If it is, no worries at all but I would have to bail on this particular trip since I already told the guy in the D90 that we’d hit some trials together.

Final question – if no one else can meet up this weekend is an issue if I head up there with my friends? I just want to be certain I’m not pissing off the owner of the land or anyone else.

first, i dont think any vehicle in particular will be a problem, we have permission, as long as we follow the rules stated in the sticky. and i personally will enforce my personal preference against littering ANYWHERE we offroad ;)

hey, if you guys are definitely going, can i come and ride with somebody?? i went last week, but im pretty sure my ball joint is ready to separate like soon.. and i wont be able to have that fixed by sunday, for sure.. and maybe someone a little more mechanically inclined can ride in my jeep down the street and check out the sounds it's making, which im sure is the ball joint.. i'll just enter and park my jeep somewhere kinda hidden and then hop in if thats cool.. lemme know, im only 30-40 minutes away, i will drive up any day!

I am busy this weekend.
Every one be careful up there. There is a guy next to TA and the local kids are pissing him off so he is watching and and placing posters all over the place. The guy in the blue house just before the TA enterance. I was talking to my cousin lastnight and the guy had more problems with kids driving pretty close to his land.

Just take it easy. I will make it a point to talk to the owner some time over the next few days to see if it is still ok to go. If you guys go hurry to the OVAL track and keep it low. We dont need any attention on us.

I am not sure what is trully going on over there at this point, but all i know is that people are starting to get out of hand
