Hooray! Good idea...give tax breaks to people that buy cars that take the most natural resources to build, and give the foreign makers an even bigger foothold in the US!

That's okay. I read somewhere that they were trying to make bumpers like ARB, and RL illegal. Because they don't allow the airbags to deploy correctly.

their just worried that it won't crumple like plastic, because it is REAL STEEL... and with that being said, it's going to take more cash to fix the other car

maybe instead they should stop the idiots that drive smart cars and crash into us from driving in the first place

instead of taking peoples f&#&ing freedoms away how about stuff it, or maybe something like, if you get in a crash thats YOUR fault, and you get injured because your airbag didnt deploy correctly... then we won't cover you

i'd be ok with that, because out of all the wrecks ive been in only one would an airbag have prevented my injuries, and in that particular case, my injuries would have probably been worse had i had an airbag because I was still driving the car after face planting the steering wheel because some idiot decided to try to cross a 4 lane highway from the emergency side lane in the rain and have their car stall in my lane causing me to T-Bone them at 60mph, had an airbag deployed in my face i wouldn't have been able to manuver the tank of an LTD that i was driving out of the road way between a flipped 4runner and a disabled f150 just as a 18wheeler went sliding down the highway and ran over my front bumper that i had left behind

jeeze, i should just tell you how i really feel...

Well, My dad always told me, "If you are going to do something, do it right. If you race someone, win. If you punch someone, knock them out. If you hit someone, total the car."
I figure the metal bumpers are jsut my way of listening to my dad. unfortunatly, i can't afford one...Sry pops.

Oh yeah, and "If you get to second base. Break for a home run."

That was my favorite one. and I hated baseball. :twisted:
