Well, I posted over on the "KJ" boards but realized I guess I should be here. Don't want to get into a teritorial pee test
so I'm back. After a 3 year cooling off period, I drove off the lot a 2009 Liberty Sport a few days ago. I missed the 04 Libo but I liked the town and country replacement. Leased it and was glad I did. Almost got a 09 minivan but with the wife and I spliting up, she gets my 93 and I bought me a new 09. Long story..
. Anyway. Got a great deal and the dealership has always did me well
. All said and done, I'm getting a set of free tow hooks. Guess my salesman got tired of me crying about why jeep would produce a 4x4 without snatch points and if KIA can put them on, why can't jeep. So, he figured he didn't want to put up with my crying about it. Anyway.. I'm happy with the improvements but disapointed that it doesn't have full size spare (extra) and I like the lever for the 4wd options instead of that stupid flip switch. Thats so Ford or GM. But.. it drives and rides just like the 04. Feels a sturdy but does seem roomy in the bck. Cockpit doesn't seem any bigger. Got the paint treated and the inside too so it's sorta sticks right no. Got the black onyx w/Dark grey inside. Love the radio system. The invoice said it had uconnect but it's says it's un-equip'd. Hope thats just an over sight and not a missleading line item on the invoice. Got the windows tinted and cruise installed (that's happening later, they had to order a module). The tires seem OOB at 60 and above or that's some vibration that's normal, not sure, they are going to check this out also.
So.. in short, 200 miles later, it's all jeep. Rides like one, handles like one. Just new skin vs my 04. So.. I'll be lurking here from time to time. As I've bought this one, I'll be able to do upgrades without having to working about it being a lease issue.

the L.O.S.T board is great most of the time, and so far the KK section is way neutral. Not to sure if it is because of me or not 
Any way, the wranglers that came it are CRAP. See if they will get you some new ones, and if not just save for some later down the road. I have a funny story about the tow hooks on my dads ram, but we will save that for later
