I currently have a Rockyroad Outfitters 2.5" lift installed. This was a very early lift for the KJ's and I believe the lifts today are a bit more advanced. The front suspension is harsh to say the least. Im not much of a gearhead so I have the dealer do all of my work. Here is what I need help with. Is there a product that I could buy that would just change the front end suspension? The back seems to be fine. I dont believe any springs or shocks or struts were changed in the lift that is on the vehical. Or would I be better off just buying a whole new lift? Also I have a very heavy bumper with a winch and it seems my front end sags a little. Do any of the kits take that into account? Thanks in advance for any help.

go to all j products (www.boulderbars.com) and get their frankenlift. i think every lift will sag a tad with a heavy front bumper so you are sorta outa luck in that department. the frankenlift can be ordered front end only and can even be ordered assembled so all you have to do is throw in the new strut assembly. that would be your best bet.

You need some hd springs up front with that bumper and winch. My suggestion would be look at OME. They have several springs that have different rates.

I believe Rusty carries OME, his front strut on his coil kit is an ome sturt.

Call him up and see if he can get you a heavy duty spring and some new struts (yours are probably worn out)

All you need to do is spend $130 on a set of Rusty's front springs and get rid of the RockyRoad. I had similar problems with a spacer lift. I put Rusty's coils on all four corners and my KJ now rides like a Cadillac.

RRO has the Rockfather lifts and I'm pretty sure Glenn would sell you just the front.

With these you can get heavy duty springs for the bumper/winch.

Don't know of a lot of people running this lift around here.

Thanks for all the input guys. I got ahold of Quinn from All J and I ordered a whole new front end lift. The struts were replaced about 2,000 miles ago and I think they are bad again already :x He said if I just replace everything I have now with the Frankenlift strut asembly and heavyduty OME coils I should be in good shape as long as the ball joints are still ok. Does anyone know roughly how much it should cost to have a garage take out the old parts and install the new ones? Just want to get ready to break it to the wife :)

should be an easy swap. I paid to have the entire Rusty's lift installed. 4 hours labor ($300). So just fronts should be 2-3 hours. I also had him do clevis lift at that price.
