So how are the new gears holding up jsc7002?? Looking to take the plunge now for all the gears and rebuild kits, then in another 3-4 months get the lockers, and then in another 3-4 after that get it all installed hopefully, time will tell though.

I dont know  Ive been waiting and waiting for the front overhaul to arrive, so I finally called today to ask about it only to find out they never sent them to me or even charged me yet, and I didnt have enough in my account so I had to move over money I wasnt wanting to, and Ill have to move more around to have them installed. But I was extremely unhappy to hear that they were never sent out or anything and Im still unhappy that all this happened and I want to say bad things about the company, but I know they are good and I have ordered from them before and got it really quick and they even gave me a little bit of a discount on it, it was just a simple mistake and it happens, its just an annoying little setback for me. But she said she would get them out today for me so Im hoping the 13th I can get them installed.

What lockers are you going with?

the rear I bought from National Drivetrain, gears and overhaul, they are both Motive but I dont see the rear overhaul listed anymore, so I must have bought one of the last ones they had lol but Ive already gotten it, I have everything I need sitting in the backseat just waiting to be installed :D

Chrysler 8.25 4.10 Gears - http://nationaldrivetrain.com/shopsi...ysler_825.html $170
Aussie Rear Locker - http://aussielocker.com/item.php/TM7...0/310061/.html $300
Grand total $725.00

Anyone use any of these companies? Any issues with that set up? My KJ is an 04 i know that some parts seals ect. . will have to be replaced when i do the gear swap do i really need a complete rebuild kit? or just an overhaul kit?

Yes those are all good companies, I have bought several things from the first two and a couple members have bought the Aussie locker. You need to also add $122 for the front rebuild kit and another $90 for the rear rebuild kit, you can buy the front rebuild from Trail Quest and National Drivetrain has the rear overhaul kit.

Does anyone have a link for the rebuild kits? I was looking around those sights and only found the C8.25 from National Drivetrain.

and for the front overhaul you just need to call Trail Quest and tell them you need to order the front overhaul for the D30a in the KJ. and its $122. You wont find the D30a rebuild anywhere else.

I bought the parts from all over the place following this thread. I am having it completed by Production Offroad down here in VA Beach area.

If you need to find a shop up in the maryland area look on MilitaryJeepers.com they have some good supporters up in that area that can help you out.

Big Brown delivers again! Front end 4.10 and rebuild kit came in today. Shipped direct form Crown but Spicer parts in the box. Oh, and I got my front bumpstops too. I also got my CB antenna and mounting hardware! Woohoo! I am going to be busy next weekend. (front gears are going in the closet until I get lifted and see how bad my mileage becomes, just wanted to have them while I can still get them.) 8)

Guys,
I just went through the parts I received anf compared with the list provided and I am missing the Crush spacer Part# 5066047. Anybody else get this in their kit or is this getting left out on all the orders?

Also, on inspecting the ring and pinion 1 tooth on the pinion looks damaged like it was dropped. The box was also "taped" back up so I don't know what to think. I will be posting a pic to see what you guys think.

Heres the pics:

outside of gear and pinion box

inside looks beat, maybe a return item?

I called Trailquest about both my issues. They were going to check with Crown and see what's up. I'll keep you posted.
