Just read on JP Magazine's site that Chrysler has sold Jeep to International. According to the article, International has big plans including dropping the Compass, Patriot and Commander, introducing Rubicon models across the board, including the Liberty and Grand Cherokee, putting the whole line back on SFA's, and renaming Liberty Cherokee throughout the world. Also, new Scout, Carryall and Travelall models are planned. The 3.0L diesel will also be added as an option on all models of Jeep. Check the web page out!

Maybe all this talk will get back to International and get them thinking reality . . . . :)

If you eat taco’s like you eat pizza, then it would still be a fairly expensive date.

Also.............I’m not overly impressed with International so I wouldn’t call a party even if it were true.

Yeah . . . I guess last year they had a headline stating that AMC was coming back! JP also still loves to trash the Liberty, even now after it has proven itself for several years.

I don’t think they “trash” the Liberty as much as they discuss the lack of trail integrity and the limited articulation (IFS). Without going SFA, the KJ is limited.

That's true and just criticism of the design, but JP also fails to give the Liberty it's just due in pointing out that despite the truck's limitations, it can and has completed 4+ difficulty trails time and again with IFS.

No they flat out hate the KJ but oddly they love the Partiot.

Yes, the hate the Liberty. I have talked to their editor & a writer, and they hate the liberty.

And that's why I cancelled my subscription two years ago. Sad too, because I've always been a Jeep guy...I've owned CJ's and YJ's. The KJ has earned my respect, you'd think it would have done so with JP by now.

JP is just shortsighted, juvenile "journalism" that is epitomized in Cappa's editorials...you know, the stuff that was cute and funny and cutting edge five years ago but just isn't anymore.

I'm so over it...there's better rags out there.

I’m a subscriber of JP magazine and I’ve read several articles that talked about the Jeep Liberty in a positive manner. I’ve also read articles in which they have been critics of the Jeep Liberty. Unfortunately, it would take me forever to find all the positive things JP has said about the Jeep Liberty. So, I took a quick moment to Google JP and found this link in which JP was talking positive about the Jeep Liberty.
