New A Arms coming on the market - Opinions?

I ran across the Rocky Road Liberty A-Arms (due for late March release). This sounds like a better quality A-Arm than the well known red alternative (if we can believe the marketing blurb), but they are much cheaper ($269 USD). Here is the link:

I'm not promoting this, just putting it out there. Does anyone have a view on Rocky Road as a company to deal with and their products, especially these A-Arms. I'm looking to replace my stock A-arms (due to UBJ spring impacts) but cost is a big factor.

they look like a copy of al's a-arms. i'll stick with al's a-arms thank you.

I'd be a lot more impressed if they weren't dissing the competition so much (bubble gum colors??).
I bought their rock rails and they shipped quickly and were fine but is all the "I'm better than them" really necessary?

if you read anything on there website, all of there advertising is dissing the competition. specifically the frankenlift. the good side is JBA is going to have to lower his prices to keep up.

I wouldn't give them a dime of my $$ just because of their lame advertising practices and Net wide Known issues of terrible customer support/service and such.

Nice thought but we need to remember this might turn out to be yet another... you get what you pay for!

Nice to see more options out there but wish the company was different. RRO doesn't necessarily make junk, but they treat people like junk.

Have you checked the prices of OEM UCA's? I'm also not talking about those aftermarket version either.JBA's UCA's are cheaper.

Not much you can do to a tube style A arm except its geometry...the lazer or plasma cut ball joint tabs are about $3.50 each the rest is DOM and bushings http://www.aa-mfg.com/pdshop/shop/item.aspx?itemid=195

How ethical is it for a company to make the consumer the R&D department? Did we get to version 5 then back down to 4.5?What about the lifts? Quick disconnects? The company free from sin should cast the first stone.

I had a $50 credit with rocky road after they messed up my order 4 yrs ago..... Never even considered going back to that company... Even with a $50 credit...

Why does RRO have to BASH every other company?
That grinds my gears!
