I got mine in the mail today................ It was a very nice write-up. 8) I even told my wife that she would get to meet the owner of the KJ this summer in Ouray. And who knows......she might be asking for a signed autograph.

Me too. Hopefully Borders Books will have the current issue on their stand. And I submitted a subscription for future issues.

Update: If you go over to the magazine's website, you will find JJ's KJ in the Readers Rides now. There you can submit comments and vote on his Jeep. Which I did.

Might have to mail that signed copy... Sorry to say but Ouray is on hold for me right now....wife got her layoff notice the other day from the school district so all incoming fun $$ is going towards debt payoffs right now, including what was earmarked for Ouray. (so much for stable employment from the schools  )
My wheeling will have to stay more local/cheap for a while. :?

Sorry to hear that JJ……………. Back in 2004 I listened to a lot of talk radio. I remember listening to a serious of financial experts and round table discussions regarding the future of our economy. At the time, it was universally excepted (amongst those that I listened to) that our over-inflated economy would eventually spinout of control and nosedive. At that time, my wife and I were both teaching Physical Education in New Mexico. We knew if crap hit the fan that our Physical Education programs would be in jeopardy and possibly the first programs cut if something were to happen. So we decided to diversify our education and work on our Masters degree is Special Education (a federally mandated program). In addition, we bought several investment properties (raw land) and moved all our retirement accounts to IRA Roth’s and heavily invested in Precious metals (GOLD). Thankfully, here we are 5 years later as Special Education teachers. So far our school districts have a hiring freeze and they will not replace any teachers who are retiring or moving on. The same financial experts that I listened to in 2004 are now saying that 2010 will be much worse. It’s a scary world…………….

How come me and JJ are the only ones with our rigs in Reader's Rides on the 4wd & Sport Utility website? Some of you guys with mods should be adding your rigs! Let's show the world our units!
