So far it looks like the Commander and Compass are getting the AX.

As the Compass & Patriot are both Calibers, making smething whose biggest competition is another of your own products didn't make sense anyway.

What's the source of your info, if I may ask?

I get most of my information from online media. Unfortunately, I do not remember where I have read all these articles. I believe it’s common knowledge that the Commander is getting the ax as it was verified by CDX over a year ago. I have read in several different places that the Compass has been Jeep’s worst seller and did not meet projected sales for the third year in a row. It has been highly speculated that the Compass could be one of the several vehicles that CDX said they would be cutting. I read somewhere that Jeep has already dropped one of the shifts for the Compass and rumors suggest that Jeep is looking to completely shut-down the facility due to the Caliber outselling the Compass by a large margin. Either way, Cerberus has told congress that they will be hashing the cars that aren’t selling.

The Patriot electric hybrid EV technology is underway, you can probably find that information written all over the place. Pretty neat write-ups if your into the electric stuff. Personally, I don’t get too excited about it. Go diesel and call it a day.
