You know Rip you kinda gave me an idea buddy..I think when I get the chance me and the passenger's glove box is going to have a nice talking.. I've had this thought of using it for my CB.. but I haven't thought of exactly yet how to do it..

I still am having problems... when the radio is on and I transmit, I can hear myself faintly and it is very scratchy sounding.
Is it that my coax runs right next to the stock radio antenna?

Also, I noticed that when the CB is on, and I flash my brights or po the foglightswitch, I get a little static noise...
Is it my grounding?

it sound more like grounding, coax is shielded it shouldnt matter if you have the coax wound around the antenna itself

when my galaxy wasnt grounded good, the radio chassis itself i mean, i would get interference that would go away if i touched the radio with my hand or held the mic, it would also pick up interference through the mic if i laid the mic next to my e-brake

test it out with your vehicle running, see if you get the interference and feed back through the radio while your hand is on the remote box, if you dont youll need a ground strap to your remote boxs chassis

if you do, try tx from the backseat our somewhere away from the headunit of your radio

question, do you have an amp on your radio, amps not only put out am interference but also accept it
