Hey guys, I am looking for a little extra ground clearance, mainly for looks, and don't have the big bucks to purchase an OME or Frankenlift. Will the Daystar spacer lift hurt my KJ in the long run, or will it be acceptable to give me the lifted look?

Daystar is a good lift for the price, but with 77,000 miles and an 03 you should really replace the front and rear shocks as well since yours are already done for.

650 or so for all new shocks and springs, with the miles you have I would suggest replace everything, you would notice a HUGE difference

Do you order that straight from the dealer? Do they have extended springs intended to give lift?

The Daystar seemed to work - but when I took it off the front springs were shorter than they were originally.
so I'd recommend bumpstops with it too (keeps the coils from stacking)

I have the Daystar kit and it works great for me. But I would highly suggest doing the shocks at the same time. And as others have said, if you already have 70k miles, your stock springs may already be sagging quite a bit. Weigh your options. It may be better to just save up $650 and do 4 shocks, 4 OME springs, and extended bumpstops and give yourself a total makeover.

If you decide on the Daystar kit, try to find somewhere that still has the KJ09115BK kit. Daystar has discontinued it, but it has everything that the current kits has PLUS you get the extended front bumpstops and the new front sway bar bushings.
