Well 235/85r16 All Terrain are $162 each + 15 per wheel stem, balance and install.
So $162 * 4 = $648
$648 - 70 = $578

$578 plus tax = $626

Just Diggerfreek you scare me as you have not gone big and all this talk about gearing! Maybe I should not go so big. I don;t want to re-gear $$ How much is that?

So if stock is 29" than the closest to 32s but not to wide are these listed below from BFG. This is my daily driver and I do tow so I'm thinking All Terrains.

235/85r16 All Terrains are 31.7" ($162) / Muds are 32" ($174)

245/75r16 All Terrains are 30.7" / Muds are 30.7"

gears cost around 250 a set you need to do both axles at the same time so say 500$ for gears then add install kit 100$ each so your at 700$ then add labor. doing the rear cost me 250$ I did the front axle my self but its at least 250 too + labor to disassemble the front diff lets say an other 300 so it will add up around 1500$ to regear if you dont do it your self. I will save more than that in gas in the long run with 33'' tires but it may not be worth it with 31'' tires

I don't want this post to come across in a bad way, but when you put on a Lt rated tire ( load range C,D,E) you mileage is going to drop. My normal city mileage with the KO's I have is 14~16 depending on weather and the time of the year, and 12~14 in the winter running in 4hi, cold weather and not driving like an old lady :twisted:

So far the KM2's seem like they are the same with maybe 1 mpg less than the KO's but I attribute this to the difference in rim weight and tire weight. How ever I haven't done enought drive to really get a good feel for mileage.

As far as gears go, because I have a manual, I don't have the instant torque an auto has. With the LT rated tires, I lost a little poop off of the line while at a light, but once you get moving, it's not a problem. My best advice right now would be to hit up one of the other KK owners with an auto and larger tires and see what they say as right now we are trying to compare an apple to a banana :lol:

Lookin good Digger ! Welcome to MTR life, how many miles do you have on them now? Are they screaming yet? I remember when I put my new MTR's on they were nice and quiet. Put about 5,000 miles on them and they aren't so quite anymore. Its kinda nice they pit the wife to sleep on long hauls

They really arn't that bad. The KO's I had on it made a little noise and these km2's make a little more... I do like the sound it makes when slowing down when I have my radio off :twisted:

I just saw a set of 4 of these in 32x11.5x15s go for $450 today locally. If they were 33s or 35s I probably would have bought them.

The guy selling them is a buddy, Joe, and he works at a dealer, so I am guessing his price on them was pretty good. He just wanted to go bigger.
