Hey everyone. Going to have to put new brake pads on the jeep soon and wondering what bigger or more durable pads other 4x4 users may be using to replace the standard brake pad that is used since most of us are off-roaders and carry a lot of gear too we need some extra stopping power because of the added weight and dynamics of our lifts and other travel gear. Same thing for the spark plugs, I've seen these new DensoTT spark plugs that I might try but thought i'd hear out some others opinions on what has worked for them to help improve gas mileage and performance. Thanks!!

I've always had good luck with Wagner pads. And I've used Denso plugs in the past with good results too. For the record, there are Denso Iridum's in my KJ now (which I did not install). As for the TT's, I too saw their ad on Muscle Cars (Spike TV) but haven't checked in to them, they may be for hi-performance applications? Check that out before you (possibly) waste money? Otherwise you can't go wrong with Autolite plugs in your Jeep.

as far as bake pads go, I have had EBC green stuff's and love them. They are specifically designed to handle getting dirt in them as well as hard braking.

I highly recomend them.

Napa Ceramic pads and Ultra Premium rotors, you can't go wrong and won't break the bank.Autolite platinum plugs seam to be the best plugs for the 3.7,though Denso Iridiums are dang good.Stay away from anything with +2,+4,or E3 attached to it,$25 each plugs like those snake oil pulsestar plugs are a joke, and NGK's are the worst(in my opinion).

even thought I have a KK, I am running napa's adaptive one brand brake pads. They are a huge improvement over stock pads

I did spark plugs & brakes this past Saturday. I used Autolite Platinums & the Napa ceramic pads with premium rotors. I'm extremely pleased with both.

i don't meant to hijack the post but since were on the topic. just wondering what everyone is using for rotators??? just wondering who is using a slotted/drilled rotators? i just bought a tent trailer and was looking for a little more stopping power. wondering if this would be a good upgrade or just sticking to the premium rotators and pads would do the same effect

Same set-up I'm running, like DryBones said I also have no noise and zero brake dust.I do have the frozen PowerSlots though, they are finally just starting to show some rust after 4 years.

Just FYI...run away from Hawk pads.

They will garner unwanted looks in traffic and earn you the name "Squeaky" on the trail

There are 3 Napa stores in Yuma, and none of them carry the brake components I need, fantastic! Looks like i will be ordering them online since they would have to order/ship them at my cost to the store and that came out more expensive then online with shipping.
