To early to tell, only put 25 miles on it so far, getting ready to go back out and drive for some more miles, need to get that 500 mile break in done.

OK so when lads have fitted the DTT to the front, have they come across a problem with the hemispheres not having the grooves for the driveshaft retaining clip to sit in.. As thats what I have been told by the guys fitting the DTT to the front of my KJ, and they have to disassemble the carrier and machine the grooves..

I've looked at it myself, and you can clearly see the grooves in the standard diff centre, and they are not there in the DTT....

Any thoughts?????????

Mine is completed.

I changed my fluid the other day and found some metal shavings expected with new gears and the lockers.

Mileage improvments 1.5 per gallon, my speedo and tachometer are still off.

Have not had a chance to test the lockers and of April when I go to Rausch Creek.

For the front the guys that replaced had no issues, the rear yoke had to be ground down to fit but nothing was said about the front.

No issues when I installed my DTT in the D30A,the CV's will stay put and no machining required.

Hmmm, I thought that myself, but, this guy doing the work is good and honest, so I do trust him, main issue was not so much getting them in, it's the getting the shafts back out, if the clip expands and locks the shaft in there, or gets pulled off the end of the driveshaft when you remove it and leaves the clip in the diff centre......

Will see what happens. :?
