typical Autozone

Nice little story about a typical autozone/advance auto/checkers,be aware there is foul language in it.

I have fun sometimes getting parts for my SFA swap,keep them looking up parts for 3-4 totally different vehicles and see how long it takes them to get confused :lol:

everytime i got into autozone i have one of those experiences. and every time i leave i say ill never go back... always wrong parts... or incompetent workers. i tried to rent a valve spring compressor once, and the manager didnt even know what that was! and i tried to get a starter for my CJ with a SBC and they said the same thing... well what vehecle is it in now....? i about lost it.

yes stopped at the local Autozone to pick up spark plugs for my Step Dads S10 Blazer ( it was closer than NAPA) :roll:

anyways by the time they looked on the computer, in their books and talked in the back ( and asked me 50 times what model / year they brought me up ..................a battery
All I could do was stand there and laugh , said never mind I will get my spark plugs elsewhere

I guess I've been lucky with the ones that I go to. I always get what I'm looking for without hassle. Although it did help a lot that my uncle worked at Auto-Zone for many years so I learned how to use their computer setup just in case I did run into idiocy. :wink:

i think it veries depending on your area.. the one I go to is in benton harbor MI... anyone from this area should understand why i get terrible service...

Hahaaaa....that is kind of funny and sad at the same time!! I bet the clerk almost peed his pants!! He should go to NAPA!!! They are always very helpful and know what they are actually doing.

That is soooooooo funny and actually true too.

I always go to NAPA and get the part and have it installed in less time that it takes me to deal with those idiots. Never catch me there.....ever.....not me......a bunch 0 big guys would have to drag me in there kickin and bitin and screamin all the way.
