My horn started acting up last night. It worked intermittently and now, it seems, not at all. The fuse is good. I can hear the relay clicking but no horn. not when locking on the remote or pushing horn on steering wheel.
Any ideas?

Have someone hold down the horn while you smack them..

Or you could just replace them with some new/louder ones that have an air compressor!

hahaha

that b.s. resulted in one of the many times I got stitches

turned out the problem was a stuck horn button in the vehicle and the driver had pulled the ground wire off the horn and had neglected to tell us this when he brought it in for DOT inspection and service

step 1. get up on steel grated table so I don't have to crawl the engine compartment

step 2. attach new ground wire and tap it to chassis

step 3 go to plug it in to the horn unit

step 4 get startled and fly backwards off table and hit head on crimp tab on oil drum lid

step 5 bleed

lol anyway, all oem horns are trash and sometimes ya just gotta slap them cause they get crap in them or the diaphram thingy gets stuck

could always put Tri-horn's on it

That happened to my truck, and I went to AutoZone and picked up a new horn for $20 and was good to go.

Yes, its a dual tone horn which is why it sounds good, unlike foreign vehicles.

Haha, pops had a ford truck that was hit in the front end. Evidently the horn was hit but only one tone was broke, the deep tone! When he would hit his horn it sounded like a little toyota.
