Can someone put these louvers on my hood in front of the one in the middle, centered and spaced evenly about 4-5" back from the jeep decal on the front of the hood?
The louvers

or this one

Thanks for the help yet again.

Kind of a rush job but should give you a good idea what they'll look like.

Like that but slightly closer together, like 1-2" apart and farther back from the jeep logo I think. Thanks.

Oh that's right you have a different framework under yours and you don't have the lovely depression down the center :D

This one has them lined up with the front edges of the two side vents:

Perfect! Thanks a ton! My only concern is that they are too short to look normal on my jeep with the other 3 long ones. The photoshop is perfect though. :D
I don't think it is too much, but I don't know if 4" are long enough and the others they sell are way too long.

what about one that was one piece, that followed the angle of the one closer to your defrost that was about 2 foot long or something?

I have about 18 inches to work with and the other one in the rear of my hood is 22" and that is the only other wide and not long one they sell.

i was thinkin come down about 3-4 inches from the top one, and have it about the same width and come to the front of the hood would look pretty good,

The main width crossbeam is there. They have to be somewhat far forward.

ahh ya lookin for maximum functional area?

i figured if a crossbeam was there you just leave the skin in that area and work around it

Yeah, don't wanna have to mess with the beam, just easier to put them towards the front.

LOL It just struck me as funny that a guy with 3 holes in his hood doesn't think that 5 is too many ... :-)r In my opinion it looks great with 3 but I suspect max air flow is your goal more than aesthetics. Thanks for that pic of the underside of your hood, just saved me having to rip mine out before I decide where my GTP Louvers are gonna go.

Jeep disease is a scary thing!

P.S. Yours has got to be my favorite Jeep license plate ever!

I may just go ahead and buy them, and see how they'll look in person, and if I don't like it, sell them.
I don't mind or have any reservations about cutting 5 holes in my jeep I'm just not sure they will look good. I don't need them, since the 3 I have now work so well, but I figured 5 would work even better. I need to decide if I wanna spend the $60 on them, or put it towards the roof rack I need, or put it towards SFA stuff. Probably going with the rack though. Maybe rack and louvers.

how about these

the only problem i had with the louvers on my z34 (and it's the exact year that these are) is that after about .. 6 years they started to fade out, but the engine compartment of a z34 is a volcano compared to our jeeps

if this gives you a slightly better idea of their size, i don't know if it'll help or not , only pic i think i have of them

I'd want them to match though.
