Guessing you would want to run three feeds for three switches.

I like it.

i was originally thinking 2 switches. 1 for left/right and one for rear

tokyo,

do you mean a fast spin, or just able to turn them? from inside the jeep?

could probably use one of the motors used for HAM antennas or something if you just wanted a turnable light array?

I like your idea, sort of what you see on ambulances. I never think the reverse lamps are bright enough and the side mounted lights can help light up the ares next to my Jeep. If you chose some HID lamps (I know, expensive) they won't draw much power.

Matt....which end? If it's the front, you need a couple/three conduit nuts under the struts, if it's the rear, 1 or 2 upper isolater pads. If ya come over to the Ohio meet on the 25th in Beavercreek, we can getya set up while we lift the other libby.
That would look nice if you could get some holes cut in the rack and have lights flush mounted.

It seems to me that you probably don't need to project that much light... that a couple of pairs of standard directional lights in each direction would get you there if you added/augmented those with LEDs, which draw very little power. That way you could light up fairly brightly at close range, and be able to selectively project light without toasting your electrical system.

Slow to moderate. No need for a fast spinning mount (probably cause eye strain and headaches) though placing different colored lenses would make it a great way to have a disco camping night.

i will be there. where can i get conduit nuts and isolator pads? the lights will have to come in another month. im going to rewire my bumper lights since they only seem to work during heavy rain, fog or snow. its strange how in dangerous driving situations they come on.

I think he's saying that if you'll look in among the fuses, it's the blown one.
That being said, it may require pulling the fuses and testing them... sometimes they don't make a big sign when they blow. I've had a blown fuse that required a magnifying glass to spot the break.
