Which reminds me, to the ADMIN here (aside from; Inc ), I ran across a post somewhere regarding member's trash talking your vendor's. Does apply to all vendors who are making products for the beloved Liberty? I ask because you know as well as most everyone here Liberty owner's have been complaining for quite some time about lack of product, and since the LOST website / forum seems to be the front-runner in Jeep Liberty authority, I have to wonder what the official LOST stance is on this issue. Not trying to make trouble for anyone but let's be honest, I'll bet I'm not the only person here to wonder?

I know you didn't pose the question to me but just so I understand right, are you asking if it is acceptable on LOST to bad mouth vendors? I would say no, do not bad mouth anyone on the site, but if you have factual info about vendors, then feel free to share it. Where is the link you mentioned anyway?

Hey Inc. Aside from this and this, I seem to recall stumbling upon a post from an Admin here (I don't believe it was you, which is why I referred my question to the other Admin's) who had warned people about bashing the vendors who support this site and that it would not be tolerated. I don't know where I read that?

I'm new here but if it were my site, I wouldn't tolerate it either. Unless of course it was a vendor I had issues with and didn't care less. Then again, any other vendor might wonder if the same would one day happen to them just because one person didn't like the company originally being bashed. That's long winded but I hope you understand my point. Aside from that, my opinion doesn't mean squat. This is your site and you can run it anyway you see fit. I like the site just the way it is, so I plan to stick around regardless. Besides, we all know what opinions are like. Everybody's got one.

Thanks for your reply.

UPDATE: Personally I don't think anyone should bash anyone, whether they be vendor's, consumer's, or the Admin of a forum, generally speaking. Anyone who has ever been in retail business knows very well that you cannot please everyone. But with that said, I don't see any reason why competing vendors cannot share time on a forum, especially this forum. But hey, if a vendor prefers not to be apart of a community they are targeting, they better understand that will not help sell products.

I DO like the idea of the nolathane bushings, thats a good thing. Gets away from those press fit ones, they are a pain to change yourself.

Hey, I checked out the rocky road A arm site just a min. ago, I think they removed a few remarks about the competition from what I remember they had posted orig. Or maby it's just me ?????

Well, I also have done biss. with RRO, rear springs, 2 sets of rock rails, they were a little slow on getting one set of rails to me, but when I called about it they were friendly and checked into it quickly, I received them a couple days later ! :D :D

I don't no, Im interested in the new arms, I like the price, they look stout!! But I understand people have had bad interactions with RRO and don't care to do biss. with them !!!

Just throwing this out there but how many of the people that are talking down to RRO have actually bought something from them. It seems like the people bashing are the same regulars that are on the forum everyday. I am just happy to see another competitor because comp. drives down prices. I really hope RRO can compete but this forum bashing is absurd.

Just look through any offroad(Jeep or any other) forum and and ask about RRO and you will get the same answers.RRO needs to keep making new products(or copying others) to keep in business since they rarely get repeat customers from bad products and bad service.I still believ there is a member on this board that they owe money to for a product that was never recieved.

There is a distinct difference from bashing a vendor for bad service, or dangerous products, and bashing a vendor simply because you prefer coke versus pepsi

i don't see much coke versus pepsi here, which is nice

people typically have substantial reasoning for helping steer people away from bad or potentially bad things

we have some good steering wheels around LOST, no names need be mentioned ;)

They look strong and the price is better then the competition.

I am just hoping my gen 3s from Al don't show signs of bad welds. So far so good. ..

I personally saw from the photos on the site that the polished ones probably wouldn't be the stronger ones anyway. I've not purchased replacement A-arms yet, but JBA will probably be my source. These just look tacky, weather they actually did any R&D to come up with the design is irrelevant. The photos speak for the sub-par quality with those really rough welds.

I agree competition is important, but let someone that doesn't rely on their Liberty as a daily driver use these. I'll save for Al's Arms. A tried and true name in KJ off-roading. Not to mention, customer service. Sounds like a nightmare with the RRO company, and Al's will bend over backwards to make sure your happy with your lift/arms.

You all think JBA UCA's are expensive but a new set of OEM UCA's cost more then the JBA's.

Things change, people change, give the guy a break, maybe he is working on becoming a better person and run his store in a more professional maner. As far as buying from him, I bought my Rock Sliders from him and did not have any issues.. Lighten up :D life is too short :(

The Pirate had a Steering wheel in his Pants ... and "It's driving his Nuts"..... it's Funny.....

I'm ordering a Set of Al's arms in the next day or so, I've just killed my second set of OEM ones and really need to get something I know works...Plus as far as the bushes go, at least Down here in Australia, I know, I can get replacements, or use some of my originals ones if need be..

If only Al would do a complete adjustable Rear upper Tri-link replacement, that would correct ball joint angle as well as correct the pinion angle, with these bigger lifts we have...

Digger you hit the nail on the head. Competition is good.

I will acknowledge that Rocky Road has been known for their questionable marketing tactics and customer service, but that doesn't mean that these arms will be a lesser product than Al's.

Competiton is good. I hope these RRO arms can actually compete with Al's. They actually look pretty good.

Competition can be good but not always. In this case it looks like RRO just copied Al's a-arms. If RRO had produced a completely new a-arm with new features than i would say competition could produce better a-arms. And an arms race would ensue -no pun intended  . But because the a-arm is exactly the same as al's then i would say there is no benefit from this competition. Instead it just boils down to who do you want to do business with? Do you want to pay extra for the better customer service and warranty or do you want to go el cheapo and take your chances? I had my al's a-arms replaced for free so i know who i am staying with.
