does anyone make a more "beefy" shock that will lift my KJ enough so that my tires stop rubbing my front bumper and by my pinch weld? I eliminated the entire weld but I'm still rubbing.

any suggestions?

thanks!

have ya tried using a heat gun and simply pushing the plastic back into the space around the weld, theres some deadspace behind the liner

* my stock 235/70's rub the pinch because my suspension is so worn out

if youve got a bunch of miles on your stock coils then it's simply gettin time for new ones, throw a spacer ontop of worn out springs and well.. just not a good idea

Shocks dont lift the vehicle my friend. Coil springs and or spacers do. Shocks dampen upward and downward movement.

You might look into a pair of coils spacers to lift your truck 1"-1.5". That might clear up your problem.

x2 - if you cut it out - you need to weld a plate back over it - it's a structural joint for the unibody.

What size of tire are you running? Because if you're rubbing stock sized tires on the pinch weld then you've got seriously worn springs. Its time for new springs and shocks all around my friend. Most people recommend OME springs with rancho shocks. So much better ride than stock and it gives you more lift than stock.
