sounds simple...but is turning out tricky

Someone please help ease my mind on this one. It is very possible I am making this up, but I swore that on my 05 liberty the power door lock/power mirror switch was lit at one point in time so it could be easily seen at night. Before I go tearing into my door panel to replace this mystery bulb, can anybody confirm that this does light up green with the rest of the panel lights? If so, I have checked in both the parts and service manual and can only find the entire switch bring serviced. Am I going out of my mind?

I hate to say but im pretty sure ur going out of your mind. I have had mine for a while and I dont recall seeing and light from there.

XJs have the lights, never really looked to see if KJs have em.

My 2002 Sport little mirror switches DO lite up along with the power window, lock switches.

The power window switches on mine light up also. 06 65th Anniv.

I just checked my 05 Limited. No lights on the doors at all. The front power window switches on the console are lit though. If they should be lit on the doors then I must have the same problem as you..maybe a blown fuse? I can't imagine it would be a bulb problem if both doors are out at the same time.

All my switches in my '02 light up,besides the power mirror one,that one never has and there is no light in the switch(I've checked).

In my '03 the power lock switch lights up and the window switches but not the power mirror switch. They also light up if my key is in the accessory position. Even the ones in the back do (windows).

Switches on '04 light up. Center console though. Easy to get to, easy to switch. And to think people hate the switches on the console. I've learned to like 'em center console.

I'm pretty sure mine don't light up...05 Limited. I'll check again...

Nothing in mine lights up except for the front two window switches.. They are lit up all the time even if the park lights are not on.

The two switches in the back also light up for the windows.

And yes, they all light up in our XJ... Cost cuts are a killer..
