I about had to cut out my whole wheel well for my MT/Rs's to not rub. I did it piece by piece until I realized there was a huge hole behind my fog light area, and it still rubs on the actual fender! Oh well. :roll:

I just notched out the bottom of my front fender today to stop that rubbing on the MTR's, now I need to heat up that lining and remold/push it forward into that opening.

Indeed. I like rotating 4 tires as opposed to 5. I'm just waiting for the shop or myself to get a used 245/70. Esp since these tires aren't the cheapest.

Have you noticed your MPG's going up at all after installing the new tires? Have you lost any power due to the increase in size as well. These are things I'm thinking about before purchasing 245/70/16's. Thanks!

I don't have bfg's but with my 245/70R16 tires I got almost 20mpg on my recent trip to Denver and that was also going over Vail Pass. I got Sumitomo AT's because the local Big O had a buy 3 get one free or in my case by 4 and get the spare free. So far I love the tires although I haven't ventured off road with them yet. With the thunderstorms brewing around here this week I'm waiting for some puddles in the Grand Junction Desert to go play in.

You can cut those rivets and push the liner up a good inch, more if you space out the fog lights.
