Hey guys - I'm looking at adding a 12K# multi-mount winch, mostly for self rescue purposes - Any suggestions?

I was just looking at their webpage... http://titanwinches.webs.com/ I don't see anything indicating that they offer a cage mount or any other 'multi-mount' setup... I tried calling their phone number, but the number seems to be no good - won't connect - fast busy signal... Between that and the typos/lousey site management, I'm not sure I've got the right guys... Am I missing something here?

Titan only sell the actual winch. I doubt they have a multimount setup. are you looking for a reciver hitch winch ?

I agree that their website sucks but their winches are very nice for the price and the service is great from what I read on other forums.

Hey Boblemoche, thanks for chiming in on this. What I'm looking for is a cage mount for front and rear - I'd be up for bolting on the mounts, or a class 3 reciever mount would be fine for the rear, but I want to be able to put the winch on the front or rear and on either my KK or my 2500. So I'm looking for 1 12K# winch and 4 mounts...

I wouldn't trust a 12k winch in a hitch receiver mount,heck I don't trust a 2k winch in a receiver mount,very dangerous,more on side pulls.

You know, that's a really good point... What I really need is a cage mount for front and rear...

Sounds like you need a Custome Fron and rear bumped that is
1. Bolts in place in many locations
2. is also welded into place for added support
All points would be re-enforced with extra plating...

Now this sounds over kill and might be, but it would make for a strong set up..

yes i have never done this before, and this is all therey in my head..
